Northaxis, Inc. takes your privacy seriously, and is strongly committed to protecting your privacy through our compliance with this policy (the “Privacy Policy”) in providing our websites (the “Sites”), including this site, and the services available through the Sites (the “Northaxis Services”). This Privacy Policy describes our collection and use of information, including personally identifiable information (“PII”), that Northaxis may collect from you or that you may provide to us, whether via the Sites, through the Northaxis Services or otherwise, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect:

• In connection with your access and use of the Sites and the Northaxis Services.
• In email, text and other electronic messages sent through or in connection with the Sites and the Northaxis Services.
• When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this Privacy Policy.

Except as required by applicable law, this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including payment facilitation and advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through the Sites and the Northaxis Services. For California residents, see the section titled “California Residents.” For residents of the European Economic Area, see the section titled “European Residents.” Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to visit, access, register for an account or use the Sites and the Northaxis Services. By visiting, accessing, registering for an account or using the Sites and the Northaxis Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Policy Changes

Northaxis may amend this Privacy Policy at any time at its sole discretion without prior notice to you. However, it is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page, with a notice that it has been updated upon visiting the Sites or by logging into your account. The date this Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring that we have an up-to-date, active and deliverable email address for you. Your continued use of the Sites and the Northaxis Services after we make changes is deemed to be your acceptance of those changes, so we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.

Information Collection and Use

We collect several types of information from and about visitors to the Sites and users of the Northaxis Services, including information:

• By which you may be personally identified, or PII, such as your name, e-mail address, biographical information, professional title, employment history, phone number, and other identifiers by which you may be contacted online or offline;
• That is about you, but individually does not identify you, such as your IP address, geographic location, and other information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Sites or the Northaxis Services, and general usage details; and
• That is about your company, such as its name, website, products, services, pricing, or other information relating to marketing and promotions.

We collect this information:

• Directly from you when you provide it to us or give us access to your accounts or systems.
• Automatically, as you navigate through or use the Sites, the Northaxis Services or the websites, products or services offered by our partners or affiliates, through the use of cookies, browser detection and other tracking technologies.

Information such as IP address, certain cookies, and technical information about your computer is collected automatically; some PII is only collected when you enter it manually on our web pages. The information we collect on or through the Sites or the Northaxis Services may include information you provide by filling in forms or using interactive features, records and copies of your correspondence if you contact us, and, if you provide us access to your CRM systems, personal contact information you have received from your customers or potential customers, provided that you have obtained their consent to provide us access to it. That information will be treated as your PII.

When you register for an account with us, we will ask you for PII, which for the purposes of this Privacy Policy includes public or non-public information about you or your company (name, address, email, phone number, billing information where applicable), data relating to your use of Northaxis products and services, and any other information we collect that is not otherwise publicly available.

As you navigate through and interact with the Sites and the Northaxis Services, we may also use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your sessions, devices, browsing actions and patterns, including traffic data, location data, logs and the resources you access, and information about your device and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system and browser type.

Certain non-identifying information would be considered part of your PII if it were combined with other identifiers in a way that enables you to be identified, but the same information is non-identifying when taken alone. We may combine your PII with non-identifying information, and may aggregate it with information collected from other users, to provide you with a better experience, to improve the Northaxis Services, and to analyze and understand how our Sites are used.

We use your PII mainly to provide the Sites and Northaxis Services to you and to administer your inquiries. We may also use PII to correspond with you, provide aggregated (anonymous) data to our partners and affiliates, provide the requested information, products and services, process payments, engage in product and market research, develop product enhancements and new products or services, and for any other purpose disclosed to you or with your consent. We do not store your financial information, including billing and credit card information; that information is processed by secure, third-party services in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Automatic Data Collection Technologies

We use cookies as a means of automatically collecting information about you through your interaction with the Sites and Northaxis Services. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all portions of the Sites or all functionality of the Northaxis Services. A cookie is a small data file that certain websites write to your hard drive when you visit them, for record-keeping purposes; you can control and/or delete cookies from being placed on your computer (for details, see aboutcookies.org). We use persistent cookies to save your registration and login details for future visits, and session cookies to enable certain features, understand how you interact with the Sites, and monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing. Session cookies are deleted when you log off and close your browser. Third-party advertisers on the Sites may also place or read cookies on your browser. You can instruct your browser to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting one; if you do, some services and functionality may not work as intended. Please note that we do not respond to “do not track” requests.

Disclosure of Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, including our registered users, without restriction. Northaxis does not sell, rent, license, or share PII with non-affiliated companies or individuals, except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personnel and Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Sites and the Northaxis Services, to perform Site-related services (for example, maintenance, database management, web analytics and feature improvement), or to help us analyze how our Sites and Northaxis Services are used. This includes trusted providers who help us process certain requests, including AI-assisted features, always under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We also engage third parties to display our advertising on websites or services operated by those third parties. Our personnel and any third parties with access to your PII only have that access to perform these tasks on our behalf, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose; employees and consultants given such access are subject to confidentiality agreements at least as protective of your rights as this Privacy Policy, and our third-party advertising partners are bound by confidentiality and data-security obligations.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement

Northaxis may cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce our agreements with you and to comply with the law or legal process. We may disclose information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties where we, in our sole discretion, believe it necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Northaxis or any third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable.

Business Transfers

Northaxis may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your PII, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy. We may also disclose PII for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or with your consent.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the information you provide to us, and have created mechanisms to give you control over it, as described throughout this policy and in the “Accessing and Deleting Your Information” section below. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising, though those third parties may offer their own ways to opt out.

California Residents

This notice applies solely to California residents (“consumers”). Northaxis adopts this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”), and terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning here. This notice relates to information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household or device (“personal information”). Personal information does not include publicly available government records, de-identified or aggregated consumer information, or information excluded from the CCPA’s scope under sector-specific privacy laws (such as FCRA, GLBA/FIPA, the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act, HIPAA or CMIA). We collect, use and share your personal information in the same manner, from the same sources and for the same purposes as set out in this Privacy Policy.

In the preceding twelve months, we have collected and, where noted, disclosed to service providers and Northaxis personnel the following categories of personal information:

We will not collect additional categories of personal information, or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes, without providing you notice. We do not sell personal information and have not sold any in the past twelve months; where we share personal information with a third party for a business purpose, we enter into a contract requiring that party to keep it confidential and use it only to perform the contract.

Your CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request that we disclose certain information about our collection and use of your personal information over the past twelve months, including the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. You also have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, to complete a transaction you requested, detect security incidents, or comply with a legal obligation). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You may exercise your rights by emailing privacy@northaxis.com with the subject line “CCPA Consumer Privacy Request,” calling 800-725-5507, or writing to Northaxis, Inc., 2880 Lakeside Drive, STE 131, Santa Clara, CA 95054. To protect your information, we will need to verify your identity before responding, which may include confirming the email address we have on file for you and other identifying details. We will confirm receipt of a verifiable request within 10 days and aim to respond within 45 days; any disclosure will cover the 12 months preceding the request. We do not charge a fee to process a request unless it is excessive, repetitive or manifestly unfounded.

We do not sell your personal information, but you have the right to direct us not to (the “right to opt out”) if that ever changes, and, if you are under 16, the right to require affirmative opt-in authorization before any such sale.

European Residents

We recognize that the European Economic Area (“EEA”) has established strict protections regarding certain PII that we may receive from visitors or users in the EEA, including requirements to provide adequate protection of that information outside the EEA. Where we collect PII relating to individuals in the EEA, it will be transferred to our servers within the United States or Canada.

Under European data protection law, in certain circumstances you may have the right to request access to any PII we hold about you and related information (including our purposes for processing it and who we share it with), to obtain rectification of inaccurate PII, to request that PII be deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw previously given consent at any time, and to request that PII be transferred directly to a third party where technically feasible. We collect, use and share PII in the same manner and for the same purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

We take each request seriously and will comply to the extent required by applicable law; for your protection, we may need to verify your identity first. If you feel you have not received a satisfactory response, you may consult the data protection authority in your country. By choosing to visit the Sites or use the Northaxis Services, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms of this Privacy Policy will be governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States of America, and you agree to abide by any dispute-resolution mechanisms in our Terms of Use.

Links to Third-Party Websites

The Sites and the Northaxis Services may contain links to other websites. Your use of any linked website is subject to the terms of use and privacy policy located on that third-party site, not this one.

Security

Northaxis is very concerned with safeguarding your information. We employ administrative, physical, procedural and electronic safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, including firewalls, controlled and monitored access to our facilities, networks and systems, and non-disclosure agreements with employees and vendors. We will make any legally required disclosure of a breach of the security, confidentiality or integrity of your personal data via email, through conspicuous posting on the Sites, or as otherwise required by applicable statute, in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, consistent with the legitimate needs of law enforcement and any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the integrity of our systems.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you, or you have chosen, a password, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. Unfortunately, no transmission of information over the internet is completely secure; although we do our best to protect your PII, we cannot guarantee its security in transit, and any transmission is at your own risk. Northaxis may transfer PII and other information to the United States and other countries for storage, processing and use by Northaxis and its affiliates.

Accessing and Deleting Your Information

You can access and change certain PII by logging into your account. You can also request that Northaxis delete your PII by emailing delete@northaxis.com. If you or your company are actively using Northaxis products and services, such requests may not be honored during the term of that use, and we may decline a request to change or delete information if we believe doing so would violate a law or legal requirement, or cause the information to become incorrect.

Children’s Privacy

Our Sites and the Northaxis Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Sites or Northaxis Services or provide us with any information about yourself. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it; if you believe we might have information from or about a child under 13, contact us at delete@northaxis.com.

Signing In With Google

Where Northaxis Revenue Intelligence offers “Sign in with Google,” we use it only to verify your identity, specifically your name, email address and profile photo, and to authenticate you into your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Calendar, Drive or Google Sheets through Northaxis Revenue Intelligence, and we do not use Google user data for advertising.
